# Introduction

Tourtify is booking software for tour and activity operators. It gives you a fast, branded booking website, a booking engine that takes payments straight into your own account, and an operations console for everything that happens after the booking. You pay a flat monthly subscription: **Tourtify never takes a commission on your bookings**, and travellers never pay a hidden booking fee.

It suits day tours and activities (walking tours, food tours, boat trips, classes) as well as multi-day trips (treks, expeditions, safaris, cycling holidays) where you need itineraries, deposits, rooming and traveller paperwork.

## The four parts of Tourtify

## How a booking flows

1. A traveller finds your tour page through Google, social media or a link you shared.
2. They pick a date, choose travellers (Adult, Child…) and any extras. Seats are **held** while they pay, so two people can never buy the last seat.
3. They pay by card or another method you enabled. The money goes into **your** Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay or Khalti account.
4. They receive a branded confirmation email with their booking page, receipt PDF and calendar file.
5. You see the booking in the console, the departure's manifest updates, and any automations you enabled (reminders, balance charges, WhatsApp messages, webhooks) run on schedule.
