# Customers and the traveller portal

Everyone who books with you appears in **Customers** automatically, with their bookings, enquiries and lifetime value. Travellers get their own portal on your website, where they sign in with a one-time email link to see bookings, pay balances and download documents.

## The customer list

Each row shows bookings, travellers, lifetime value, last booked and next trip.

| Segment | Shows |
|---|---|
| All customers | Everyone who has booked |
| Repeat travellers | Customers with more than one booking |
| Trip coming up | Customers with an upcoming trip |

Search by name or email. Sort by **Recently booked**, **Highest lifetime value**, **Most bookings** or **Name A–Z**.

## A customer's page

Open a customer to see:

- **Lifetime value** and average per booking
- **Paid bookings**, repeat traveller status and travellers across all trips
- **Next trip**
- Every **Booking** and **Enquiry** with links

Choose **New booking** to book them again with their details filled in, or **Email** to write to them.

Repeat travellers are your cheapest bookings. Use the **Repeat travellers** segment before launching a new trip.

## The traveller portal

Travellers don't need a password.

1. On your website, the traveller chooses **My bookings** (or opens the link in any booking email).
2. They enter the email they booked with and choose **Email me a sign-in link**.
3. They open the link (valid for 30 minutes, single use) and are signed in on that device for 30 days.

They can also find a single booking with its **Booking reference** and **Surname on the booking**.

## What travellers can do

| See all bookings | **Upcoming** and **Past & cancelled** |
| Booking page | Trip, date, travellers, what's paid and what's due |
| Pay the balance | **Pay … now**, or **Pay the full … instead** with instalments |
| Add to calendar | Downloads an `.ics` file for any calendar app |
| Confirmation (PDF) | Booking confirmation and receipt |
| Before you travel | Add traveller details and sign waivers, when those plugins are on; send each group member their own link |
| Contact you | **Contact us** |

Add **My bookings** to your header menu or header builder so travellers can always find it.

## Privacy

Customers are created from bookings only. Travellers see only their own bookings, after proving they own the email address.
