# Business settings

Business settings hold who you are: your trading name, contact details and branding. They are used on your website, on receipts and PDFs, and in every email you send. Set them first; everything else picks them up.

## Business details

1. Go to **Settings**. You land on **Business details**.
2. Fill in each section and save.

| Section | Field | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Your business | Business name | Your trading name on the website, receipts and every email |
| Contact details | Contact email | Shown in email footers. Travellers' replies go here. |
| | Phone or WhatsApp | Email footers, website header and footer |
| | Address | Optional. Helps travellers find your office or meeting point. |
| Branding | Logo | Emails and your website header. A wide PNG on a transparent background works best. |
| | Brand colour | Buttons and accents on emails, receipts and your website |
| | Email sign-off | The last line of every email, e.g. "The Himalaya Treks team" |

The **Preview** on the right shows a booking confirmation with your details and branding, and updates as you type. Choose **See and customise every email** to go to [Emails](/bookings/emails).

Your brand colour is the starting point for your theme. In the [Theme Builder](/website/theme-builder) you can follow it (**Use my brand colour**) or choose separate colours.

Some items only appear when their plugin is on, or for roles that can manage settings.

## Plan & usage

**Settings › Plan & usage** shows your current plan, trial days left and how much you use: team members, media storage, live tours and bookings in the last 30 days. Choose **Upgrade** or **Switch** to change plan; the change takes effect immediately.

::: warning Paused accounts
If a trial ends without a plan, online booking pauses. Your website and data are safe; choose a plan to start taking bookings again.

## Who can change settings

Owners and admins can view and change business settings. Only the owner can connect payment accounts and manage billing.
